All conidia examined were 3 septate with slight wall constrictions at septa and lacked appendages. ITS barcode matched to several taxa, including 528/529 with MG828958, the holotype of Seimatosporium rosicola [= Sporocadus rosigena]. Sporocadus rosigena and Sporocadus lichenicola are the 2 most likely candidates. Conidia measurements yield a closer fit to S. rosigena than S. lichenicola. Collaboration with Fay Newbery.
