; Additional Notes2 spored terrestrial Coprinellus species with setules but no veil components. The spores are very unusually shaped. Following FAN 6 this keys out to Coprinellus amphithallushowever the spores do not fit the illustration. Coprinellus bisporiger is a close fit but FAN6 has this on 'leaves and fallen branches'. British Fungus Flora 2 has a more agreeable spore illustration for C. bisporiger but habitat as 'on sticks'.
