Underside straw-buff, shading to brown at edge; velutinous. Stipe deeply furrowed, straw-buff, to 25mm (broken) x 8mm at apex. Ribs extending slightly onto cup. Several of varying sizes in loose cluster over 1 - 2m. Mature spores sparse in squash (none dropped). Numerous immature spores (as noted in Spooner key), ellipsoid with single large oil drop. Spores 16.5-18.5 x 12-13. ITS barcode failed.
